Our People

  • Kirsten Dennison

For over 39 years, I've called the basin my home, raising our two children here. With a background in finance, I've most recently worked in both banking and investment firms.

Caring forms a very big part of my values, having done, and still doing, lots of volunteering for various local clubs and organisations. So when the opportunity arose to acquire a business that assist others, I eagerly seized it.

I consider it a privileged to connect with our clients in their space. Everybody has a unique story, and I believe there's wisdom to be gained from every experience.

  • Rosie Mackay

I trained as a school dental nurse before travelling overseas for a couple of years, returning home to Dunedin to bring up a family. I have worked in retail, wineries, hospitality plus, in the events and conference sector.

I have lived in Queenstown for over 22 years. I have three children, seven grandchildren and enjoy walking, gardening, cooking, reading and looking for the time to take up golf!

Prior to joining Your Saving Grace, I worked in a similar position in Dunedin. I am empathetic, enjoy meeting people and always want to help those that require a helping hand.

  • Debra March

I have been involved in hospitality for over 30 years before being made redundant due to Covid. Time for a career change from hospitality which has led me to my current caregiver position within the Your Saving Grace team.

I am a compassionate person who knows how to keep a level head during emergencies. I provide numerous ways to make our clients feel comfortable and safe at all times. It’s a privilege to be entrusted with an individual’s wellbeing.

In my spare time I love team sports and the great outdoors.

  • Lynley Todd

I gained my Bachelor of Nursing degree in 1999, and during my career have nursed in different areas. Eleven years in ED, fourteen years District nursing, and the past six years working with palliative patients at Hospice Southland.

I joined Your Saving Grace in early 2022 after moving to Clyde. We love the wonderful relaxing lifestyle of biking, boating, walking our dogs, local vineyards and catching up with friends.

We have six children, and 10 beautiful grandchildren all busy in their own lives.

I am so looking forward to the next phase of my life.

  • Sue Henderson

I’m a very proud fifth generation Queenstowner and have worked for many years in the customer service industry. I was also self-employed for many years running the local Arrow Express bus service which ran between Arrowtown and Queenstown.

Working for Your Saving Grace represents for me not only the opportunity to personally care for people, which I love, but to share my zest for life and lifestyle living that we all deserve to have.

  • Rose Kleiss

I am originally from Christchurch and trained as a Community/Enrolled nurse. I lived in Holland for nine years, five of those years working in a Rest/Nursing Home.

I have traveled Europe extensively and now lived in Queenstown for the past 30 years. Previously I worked as a Phlebotomist at Southern Community Laboratories for numerous years also doing blood tests at Lakes District Hospital, Lake Wakatipu Care Home, and home visits. My entire career has been around helping people.

My hobbies include reading, gardening, traveling, and meeting up with family and friends.

  • Rebecca O'Malley

Born and raised in Adelaide, Australia, I began my cheffing career at the age of 16, which allowed me to travel across the country.

This is where I met my kiwi husband, Jimmy, before we settled in Arrowtown, where I first worked at Millbrook Resort for a number of years. After having our two children, Bridget and Ned, I joined Provisions of Arrowtown for many fulfilling years.

I am passionate about community, and I’ve been involved in school and sports fundraising. Now I am working with Your Saving Grace, where I feel it is a privilege to be able to assist and meet new people.
